GRS asked to deliver massive pump station

Sometimes opportunity arrives because you've built the right reputation. Sometimes it arrives because someone else hasn't or doesn’t have it in their wheelhouse.
GRS has been appointed to deliver a massive pump station scheme in Deeside for two of the UK's most respected housebuilders: Anwyl Homes and Bellway Homes. The appointment follows a change in contractor on the scheme, with both clients turning to GRS to step in, take ownership and deliver.
Stepping In and Taking Ownership
Pump station work is technical, demanding and very unforgiving. It requires a team that understands what they're doing from the first day on site - not one that's learning on the job. Put quite simply, GRS has that team.
And when Anwyl and Bellway needed a contractor they could trust to pick this up and run with it, they knew exactly where to come. It says everything about the capability of this business right now.
"There are contractors who look at a pump station of this scale and complexity and find reasons why it's difficult. Our team looks at it and asks one question: when do we start?" – Tom Keane, Owner and Managing Director
The Technical Capability to Deliver
"This is a brilliant win for the team and a real statement of confidence in what we've built here," Keane added. "We have seriously talented people at GRS who genuinely love this type of work; the complex stuff, the technical challenges, the schemes that require proper thought and proper planning before a single machine moves.
"That attitude, combined with the technical capability to back it up, is what sets GRS apart. I couldn't be prouder of the team for earning this opportunity and I have absolutely no doubt they'll deliver."
