Pipe Laying Gangs Wanted

GRS Civil Engineers is expanding following a run of new site wins across the North West. We're looking for experienced pipe laying gangs to join us.
GRS is growing. A number of recent contract wins mean we need more gangs on the ground – and not general groundworkers. We need gangs who know deep drainage and large-diameter pipe.
Our order book covers roads, sewers and groundworks for housebuilders including Persimmon Homes, McDermott Homes, Morris Homes, Bellway Homes, Miller Homes and Rowland Homes. The next phase at Chadderton is well underway, with more large-diameter pipework starting this month.
What we need gangs to do
Lay large-diameter pipework – concrete, clay and HDPE
Work deep – trench boxes, drag boxes and sheet piling in excavations to 5m and beyond
Build manholes and chambers – rings, benching and cover slabs
Work confidently alongside 360 excavators and lifting operations
Work from drawings and get it right first time
What we're looking for
Established gangs of three or four
Own transport, or transport can be provided
CSCS/CPCS cards, with confined space and NRSWA an advantage
GRS is a business built on people who've spent decades in a trench. If that describes you and your gang, we want to hear from you.
