Working on behalf of Charles Church, infrastructure and enabling works were required to support the residential construction programme and prepare the site for phased housing delivery.
The project demanded a coordinated approach across multiple civil engineering disciplines, particularly due to the challenging topography of the site, which is positioned on a hillside. Delivering complex deep drainage and groundwork solutions efficiently and to a high standard was critical to the programme’s success.
GRS delivered a comprehensive infrastructure package, focusing on early-stage works to unlock the development and enable seamless progression into the build phase.
Despite the technical challenges presented by the site’s gradient and ground conditions, all works were completed on time and to the highest standards. GRS also facilitated site-wide muck shifting operations and engineered build-up areas to achieve required formation levels across the development.



WE NEEDED A CONTRACTOR WHO COULD MOBILISE QUICKLY AND DELIVER UNDER PRESSURE. GRS BROUGHT THE PROGRAMME FORWARD BY FOUR MONTHS. THAT LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE MAKES A REAL DIFFERENCE.
